Dr. Syed M. Imran Haider Naqvi brings diversified experience of over 20 years in teaching, management and research. He is heading the HR section at CIIT Lahore. Being HEC approved supervisor he also serves the Department of Management Sciences for teaching and research. He joined CIIT in 2010 and served key roles in founding DDP, ORIC and CIF. He earned his doctorate in HRD from National University of Modern Languages (NUML) in 2009. Earlier Naqvi automated and headed the HR departments of Dawood Islamic Bank Limited and Averox Pvt. Ltd. He maintained long association with Beaconhouse Informatics, Islamabad in faculty and management of foreign education programmes and HR automation. Naqvi started his career in 1996 with Pakistan Air Force as a lecturer in computing. His career drifted from computing to HR/management for his managerial assignments and skills in HRIS. In addition, he also served IIU, NUML and PIMSAT in their visiting faculty. He has contributed certain books and publications in areas of HRM, project management, and Islamic Finance. He has also been organizing knowledge conferences (GFIF), seminars and other events successfully. He further founded the first journal of CIIT in Islamic Finance.
