Dr. Khurram Shabih Zaidi is currently working as an Assistant Professor in the Electrical and Computer Engineering Department at the COMSATS University Islamabad, Lahore Campus, Pakistan. He worked as a research officer and completed his PhD from the Universiti Teknologi PETRONAS, Malaysia, in 2018. He received his MSc in Information and Communication Engineering from the University of Leicester, England, in 2008 and BSc in Electrical Engineering from the University of Engineering and Technology, Lahore, Pakistan, in 2000. Dr. Zaidi has provided consultancy to a RF & Baseband design house called Plextek, in Cambridgeshire, England for TWO months in 2016. He also owns a PATENT on “Trans-horizon wireless communication system using the tropospheric evaporation duct”. US20190296801A1 - 2019-09-26.

His research interest includes IoT devices, backhaul communication, data analytics, wireless communication and data communication networks, Non-intrusive load monitoring, Electric circuits and Electronic devices, wireless network security. His expertise includes the availability and capacity prediction and calculations for data communication.

Topic of Research: Long-Range, High-capacity, Wireless Backhaul Network design for Broadband and Video Surveillance over the Sea.
