Seminar on the topic “Communication for professional success”

The Department of Management Sciences under the umbrella of Soft Skills Committee is planning to have number of activities in Spring 2016. The objective of the committee is to guide and equip our graduating students with the soft skills like communication skills, time management, leadership skills, presentation skills, negotiating skills, how to give successful interviews etc.
In this context a seminar on the topic of “Communication for professional success” was arranged on 3rd March 2016 from 11:30 to 13:00. The guest speaker Prof. Dr. Ali Sajid (Tamiga-i-Imtiaz) delivered a very thought provoking lecture. He is professor of Management and leadership, a corporate trainer and a motivational speaker. Since 1988 he had been into higher education. Had unique honor to conceive and launch three successful business schools.
He discussed some very key techniques to be effective in your professional communication. He shared his life experiences and in a very unique style emphasized on communication skills by using references from Quran and hadith, quotes and poetry.
