Consciousness-Raising is the process of creating awareness among people, especially women, to bring about significant change in society at broader scale. Realizing its need and importance as a precursor to social change, the Humanities department conducted a one-day workshop in collaboration with Critical Thinking Forum (CTF) on January 05, 2016 in the Seminar Room (A Block) from 10:30 a.m. to 01:30 p.m. CTF is a research body established by Iqbal International Institute of Research and Dialogue (IRD), International Islamic University Islamabad (IIUI). This forum aims at carrying out a project titled “Consciousness Raising of Pakistani Women on Contemporary Academic and Social Issues”.
