Dr. Sadia Arshad is an Associate Professor of Mathematics at COMSATS University Islamabad, Lahore Campus. She received PhD degree (Mathematics) in 2013 and BS(Hons) in 2008 with Gold Medal awarded by University of the Punjab. She was a Post-Doc Fellow at Chinese Academy of Sciences during 2015-201. Dr. Sadia’s research interest includes computational modeling, differential equations, numerical methods and fractional calculus. Mathematical modeling is useful to reach an understanding of the systems of the real world of their inner structure and behaviour. Fractional calculus is a rapidly evolving field and mathematical interest in this developing field has given access to its numerous applications in control theory, biological systems, medicine, epidemiology, experimental data fitting, and many more important fields of science and engineering. She has been actively involved in conducting research and has a number of research papers to her credit that have published in prestigious journals.
