Biography

Currently, I am working as an Assistant Professor in the Computer Science Department of COMSATS University, Lahore Campus. I have been awarded a Ph.D. Degree by School of Computing and Communication (SCC or Infolab21) Lancaster University in 2019 and I have been engaged in research in the areas of Natural Language Processing. In the year 2009, I did MPhil. (Computer Networks) from KTH (Kungliga Tekniska Högskolen) Stockholm, Sweden. Over the past years, I have worked in software research/development in various multinational organizations.

My research interest span is in the area of applied natural language processing and tools, online child protection, cybersecurity, data science, semantic tagging, multi-label/target text classification, machine learning, the internet of things, and machine learning-based networks.
