Biography

Dr. Ghulam Abbas is currently serving on the Faculty of the Department of Management Sciences at the COMSATS University (CUI) Lahore Campus, Pakistan. He has been working as Associate Editor of the COMSATS Journal of Islamic Finance (CJIF) since 2016. He earned his PhD degree from an AACSB-accredited business school in Malaysia. He completed his Master of Science in Management Sciences from COMSATS University Lahore, Pakistan. He worked on various research projects funded by HEC, USAID, and the CRGP system of COMSATS University Islamabad. His areas of research interest include Human Resource Management, Compensation, Sustainable Performance, Well-Being, Health and Safety, Innovation, Sustainable Development, SMEs, and Business Economics. He has several publications in high-impact international academic journals. Besides his achievements in academia, he has demonstrated his ability to organize conferences, seminars, and strategic workshops, as well as serve as a hostel superintendent.
