During my career with pharmacy and drug sector, I have earned a loads of experience in community medicine, patient counseling, monitoring doses of drugs and their adverse effects, resolving drug interactions, advising physicians on alternate drugs, Out/in-patients handling, training junior pharmacists, maintaining a proper sale/purchase record of controlled drugs. On the administrative side, my expertise includes: staff training, effective management of human resources, inventory management, procurement of surgical goods for Jinnah hospital Lahore, development of internal controls and reporting to senior management. I had a patronage to establish a number of community pharmacies at different sites in Lahore and had an exemplary triumph in all my projects. My last assignment in Pakistan was Jinnah Model Pharmacy (a joint venture by Jinnah Hospital Lahore and Allama Iqbal Medical College) a unique pharmacy of its kind as it was the first largest project owned by the Government of Punjab. In Jinnah Hospital Lahore we were the designated supplier for local Purchase in addition to that we were also catering for almost 2000 out-patients.
In 2014 I relocated to Malaysia where I started my career as a community pharmacist in Farmasi Alpha.com, where I was involved in handling logistics,supply chain management, whole sales to private health care centers and corporate clients, training of pharmacists from University of Notingham,MAHSA,UKM,UiTM and UCSI.
In 2023 I relocated back to Pakistan where I had the privilege to join CUI as a Lecturer in Pharmacology.
