Dr. Muhammad Hasan Jamal received the bachelor's degree in Computer and Information Engineering from International Islamic University Malaysia (IIUM) in 2005, a Masters degree in Computer Engineering from the University of Engineering and Technology (UET), Lahore, Pakistan in 2008, and a Ph.D. degree in Electrical and Computer Engineering from Purdue University, West Lafayette, IN, USA, in 2015. He was a recipient of the Fulbright Scholarship for his Ph.D. studies.

From 2006 to 2010, Dr. Hasan worked as a Research Associate and Senior Research Associate with Al-Khawarizmi Institute of Computer Science, UET, Lahore. He was a Graduate Technical Summer Intern at Sandia National Laboratory, Albuquerque, NM, USA, in the summer of 2015. Since 2016, he has been an Assistant Professor with the Department of Computer Science, COMSATS University Islamabad (Lahore Campus) Pakistan. His research interests include parallel and distributed systems, performance engineering, and scientific computing.
