Faculty member receive a fellowship to study at The Prince’s School of Traditional Arts London

Comsats, Department of Architecture and Design Lahore is very pleased to announce that one of our Faculty member, Assistant Professor Sadia Farooq who recently completed her MA (Hons.) Visual Arts from National College of Arts was honored by the Charles Wallace Trust Pakistan to receive a fellowship to study at The Prince’s School of Traditional Arts London for a whole term based on her work quality. PSTA earlier known as VITA is one of the worlds unique and very prestigious Academic Institutes teaching and promoting Traditional Arts and particularly Arts of the Islamic World.
Ms. Farooq performed exceptionally well during her residency and managed to acquire the PSTA Open Programme Diploma in three months only which is usually acquired in a period of six months. This accolade not only enhanced her academic qualification but also became a matter of pride for the entire Architecture and Design department
Ms.Farooq’s remarkable achievement was also acknowledged at her Alma Mater NCA as she was invited to give an Artist Talk to the MA (Hons.) Visual Arts students which later on was also covered in the latest NCA newsletter.
