Highlights CIMUN-IV:2018

COMSATS Lahore Debating Society or better known as (CLDS) proudly announced that it has conducted the most successful Model United Nation conference in COMSATS Lahore during March 1st to 04th March 2018. International Delegates from China, Naigiria & Afghanistan participated in CIMUN-IV. Delegations from prestigious institutions of the country also participated in different UN- simulated committees. Respective UN committees discussed the world issues regarding diplomacy, peace, child labor & women empowerment. Patron in chief worthy Director Prof, Dr. Qaisar Abbas delivered his opening speech on 1st March by welcoming the international delegates and wishing good luck to CIMUN-IV team. His Excellency Mr. Aizaz Ahmed Chaudhry (Pakistani ambassador to USA) shared his views through video link. MPA Dr. Najma Afzal shared his views about state policy of the state in the session of diplomatic meet. Dr. Robina Farooq, Berg. r. Wajahat, Col. r. Nokahiz grace the closing ceremony by distributing the awards to respective committees.

We are really thankful to our Co- advisor Ms. Huma Ejaz, Dr. Aqif Anwar Ch. (In charge student societies) & all faculty members who participated in the different segments of the conference. We are highly grateful to the all supporting departments i.e. Admin staff, Management of A, B, C, k P & N block, Coordination & Liaison, Transportation, Purchase, Accounts, Admin, Security team, horticulture team, Works team, Accommodation team, Janitorial staff and all those who positively contributed in this event.

COMSATS University Islamabad, Lahore Campus was established in January 2002. It is located at Defence Road off Raiwind Road Lahore. The campus is at 25 minutes drive from the main city. This is purpose built and spreads over 185 acres with a 400,000 sq. ft covered area.
