Muhammad Umair Safder received the M.Sc electrical engineering degree from the Xian Jiaotong University, Xian China,  and the B.Sc. degree from the University of Central Punjab (UCP), Lahore, Pakistan. He is currently working as Lecturer at the Department of  Electrical and Computer Engineering, COMSATS University Islamabad (CUI), Lahore Campus, Pakistan.He has authored/coauthored several research articles in leading journals of his field. His research interests include the Multimodular AC/AC converters,Energy management, Microgrid,and Power systems.
