Dr. Muhammad Naeem Awais has completed his Ph.D. in Mechatronics Engineering with a specialization in Microelectronics from Jeju National University, Jeju, the Republic of Korea in 2013. Prior to his Ph.D. studies, he obtained a Master's in Electrical Engineering from the University of Engineering and Technology (UET), Taxila in 2010 and a Bachelor's in Computer Systems Engineering from Quaid-e-Awam University of Engineering, Science and Technology (QUEST), Nawabshah in 2003.

During his Ph.D. studies, he worked on the fabrication of resistive switching (memristive) devices through printed electronics and used the fabricated devices for electrical switching and memory applications. The title of his Ph.D. thesis was “Printed Memristive Devices for Electrical Switching and Memory Applications”.

His research interests are as under:

Dr. Naeem is currently associated with the Department of Electrical and Computer Engineering, COMSATS University Islamabad, Lahore campus since 2013. Prior to his Ph.D. degree, he served the Department of Electrical Engineering, NUCES-FAST Islamabad campus for 4 years from 2006 to 2010.
