Current Research Area & Brief

 

Dr. Mujtaba Jaffery is currently working as an Assistant Professor at Electrical and Computer Engineering Department (ECE) at COMSATS University Islamabad Lahore. He pursued his (PhD) at Surrey Space Center, University of Surrey in October 2012. At Surrey Space Center, besides his PhD research topic, he successfully designed the optimal fuel budget propulsion system for low cost Lunar mission supervised by Canadian Space Agency (CSA). Besides teaching undergraduate and graduate courses, he has vast expertise in the area of practical control, electronics, automation, and robotics. His areas of interest include development of Energy generation systems, Unmanned Aerial Vehicle (UAV) design and control, automation and development of GSM based remote monitoring systems, Model predictive control (MPC), optimal control and implementation of advanced control techniques on Quadrotors for planetary precision landing platforms. He is currently collaborating from CIIT platform with industrial partners and providing technical support. As a Research Head of Control Automation Power Energy (CAPE), currently he is engaged in
