Shariyeh Hosseini Nasab is a professor of Architecture at COMSATS University Islamabad (CUI). She serves as the Chairperson of the Department of Architecture at CUI and is heading the School of Architecture at Lahore campus. Dr. Hosseini Nasab is the Provincial Director of the National Platform for Housing Research (NPHR) Pakistan. She is also an adjunct professor in Ershad-e-Damavand University, Tehran, Iran. She has been serving as a visiting faculty and researcher in several prestigious Iranian Universities.

Prof.Hosseini Nasab's research interests include urban revitalisation and transformation, affordable housing in the Middle East and South Asia, post-disaster construction, adaptive reuse of buildings and circular economy and issues of minorities and gender in cities. She is an architect by profession who persues multidiciplinary aspects of this field. Her earlier works are focused on the socio-spatial aspects of architecture and issues of identity, sense of belonging and memorability of space. 

In addition to publications, she follows her research interests in the form of organising, advising and instructing workshops and design studio practices. The more recent ones include; Flood Rehabilitation Shelter design with indigenous building methods and materials, Lahore Pakistan (2023), Flood Resilient Housing community design in Southern Punjab, Pakistan (2022), Proposal for Pandemic-resilient Community Design in Lahore, Pakistan (2020). 

Shariyeh Hosseini Nasab holds a Ph.D. in Architecture from University of Engineering & Technology (UET), Lahore and a Masters in Architecture from Yazd School of Art & Architecture, Yazd University, Iran. She has worked on various documentation, rehabilitation and conservation projects in the historic city of Yazd, Iran.
