Dr. Shahbaz Akhtar Abid received his MS(CS) degree in Data Communication Networks and Distributed Systems from COMSATS university Islamabad, Pakistan and PhD degree with distinction in Computer Networks from University of Malaya, Malaysia. He enjoyed the fully funded performance based scholarship during his MS(CS) from COMSATS and fully funded scholarship during his Ph.D. under Bright Spark Scholarship Program (BSP) from University of Malaya. He is working as an Associate Professor in COMSATS University Islamabad, Lahore Campus.

Dr. Shahbaz  is HEC Approved PhD Supervisor.

His research interests include communication and security issues in
