Fahmeed Idrees, is an Assistant Professor at the Department of Management Sciences at CUI, Lahore.  

He has substantial cross industry experience that includes Information Systems Management, Project Management, Business Development of I.T. and technology based products. Before returning to Pakistan in 2005, he has worked in the United Sates and also worked at Coldwell Banker in Sacramento, California as their I.T. Manager. 

Before joining CUI he also worked as the Business Development Manager at NETSOL Technologies in their  Information Security Division and also at OpenNet Solutions (Subsidiary of Computer Marketing Company).  In 2006, he had worked at MicroTech Industries as an Assistant Product Manager and a Project Manager on several projects. In 2010, he was part of the Strategic Steering Committee for Open Source at Punjab Information Technology Board, Government of Punjab and had also served as the focal person for the  I.T. and information security committee at CIIT Lahore.

Teaching areas of Fahmeed Idrees at CIIT include: Entrepreneurship, Strategic Management, Marketing Research, Research Methodology, Marketing, International Business, Management Information Systems and Human Resource Information Systems.

He has also taugh at Lahore School of Economics, FAST (National University of Emerging Sciences), Punjab University and University of Central Punjab. In addition, he has also been called as a judge at the Business Plan competition held by LUMS  at the Young Leader and Entrepreneurship Summit and had also been called in by University of Gujrat as an external examiner to evaluate the final year projects.

His area of interest includes, Entrepreneurship, Agri-Business, Information Systems.
