Dr. Abid Ali did his Master degree from Department of Chemistry, Quaid-i-Azam University Islamabad, 45320, Pakistan and then enrolled in the same department as Ph.D candidate in 2012. His research interest is about the carbon based nanomaterials for the energy conversion and storage devices. He has also honour to work under the supervision of Prof. Huisheng Peng in the State Key Laboratory of Molecular Engineering of Polymers and Laboratory of Advanced Materials, Fudan University Shanghai, China. Later on he moved to Department of Physics, Yildiz Technical University Istanbul, Turkey where he did his research work under the supervision of Prof. Serap Gunes, a pioneer in the field of polymer solar cells. Recently, his research focus is about the carbon based nanomaterials for electrocatalytic applications.  He has published 10 peer-reviewed research articles in reputed international journals including American Chemical Society and The Royal Society of Chemistry.
