Mr. Shahzad Ali is a graduate of COMSATS University Islamabad (Lahore Campus). He completed his BS and MS at the Department of Chemical Engineering. Thereafter, keeping in mind the importance of the higher academic qualifications, he moved to South Korea. Here, he completed his PhD in Energy Science & Engineering on fully funded scholarship. During the tenure of his PhD, he won many awards at various forums including international conferences and DGIST.

He holds diverse experience of academic and industrial sector. After completing his undegraduate studies, he moved to the industry and worked (in contractor companies) at the well known chemical & hydrocarbon industries Like ICI Paksitan and OMV. After completing MS studies, he has worked as Research Associate at the Department of Chemical Engineering at COMSATS Lahore. 

His reserach intersts span over the energy and environment issues and their possible implications over the economy. His reserch work is related to the production of Biodiesel and Solar Fuel production. Currently, he is working on the development of economical systems for photocatalytic CO2 reduction.
