Engr. Mulazim Ali is Research Associate at Department of Chemical Engineering, COMSATS University Islmabad- Lahore Campus. He did his BS & MS Chemical Engineering from Chemical Engineering Department , CUI Lahore  and was one of the best students of the department. He worked in industry (e2e Business Enterprises , The first Rice Bran Oil Plant) for almost two years. During his stay at e2e Business Enterprises, he had been given roles in multiple departments i.e. QC/QA , H&SE , Utility & Process as well  and by the time he left the organization , he was working as Process/Utility Engineer. .  

He joined COMSATS as Research Associate in FEB 2016 & since then he has taught different courses like Heat Transfer Operations, Mass Transfer Operations, Fluid Mechanics for Chemical Engineers and Fuels & Energy. He is also a team member of research group named "Catalysis & Reaction Engineering Group (CREG)" lead by Dr. Murid Hussain (Associate Professor/HoD ,  Chemical Engineering, CUI Lahore) and Co-Incharge of CREG Research Lab. Also,  he had previously served as Co-Incharge of Polymer Processing Lab and Rubber Technology Lab for a period of 3 years and have excellent grip over preparation of rubber/polymer composites and use of major equipment Internal Mixer (HAAKE Remix 600 OS), Moving Die Rheometer (MDR 3000), Compression Molding etc.

He is currenlty servingy in core committees of department namely Marketing Committee, Continuous Quality Improvement Cell (CQIC) and Accreditation Management Cell (AMC) apart from teaching assignments.
