Introduction

Dr. Mehwish Batool is currently working as Assistant Professor at the Department of Chemical Engineering, COMSATS University Islamabad (CUI), Lahore Campus. Dr. Mehwish Batool is a member of the membrane system Research Group at the Department of Chemical Engineering, COMSATS University Islamabad, Lahore Campus, Pakistan. She received her Bachelor's degree in Chemical Engineering from the NFC Institute of Chemical Engineering & Technology Training Multan in 2008 and worked as a management trainee officer at Maple Leaf Cement Factory in Iskanderabad, Mianwali. She entered the Institute of Chemical Engineering & Technology, University of Punjab, Lahore for her Masters in 2011. She joined NUST University as a Lecturer in March 2013 and worked for 2 years. She completed her Ph.D. Chemical Engineering from ICET, University of the Punjab Lahore, Pakistan in May 2022.

She joined CUI, Lahore Campus in February 2015 as Research Associate. Her major responsibilities include teaching (both theory and lab), administrative responsibilities (Industrial Liasion Office, Job Placement Cell, Newsletter Team & Proctorial Board member), research (published eleven (11) research articles in international journals with a cumulative impact factor of 40.68.
