Engr. Muhammad AKMAL Rana did his Bachelor in Chemical Engineering from Dawood University of Engineering and technology Karachi. After his bachelors, he joined Renewable Energy Sector and worked for 4 years in Ethanol Production plants where he involved in production activties on Industrial and Fuel Grade Ethanol. He also worked as "Senior Process Engineer" in one of the biggest Ethanol plant of Pakistan bearing capacity of 400,000 L/day of Ethanol by Sugar-cane Molasses fermentation. In 2012, He started his MS in Energy Systems Engineering from one of the top ranked university of Pakistan NUST Islamabad where where he further enriched his industrial experience. During his MS he successfully published his research work in national and international conferences as well in ISI indexed Journals. He joined Department of Chemical Engineering CIIT Lahore Campus in 2015 and still actively performing his duties assigned by the department and CIIT management. He also worked hard to register AIChE(American Institute of Chemical Engineers) CIIT Student Chapter.
